Casita 20 at Diamante: Fully Redone, Fully Furnished, Ready When You Are

Most of the work on this place is already done. Casita 20 has been updated from top to bottom, and it comes furnished, so you can show up with a suitcase and start using it. It also faces a big, well-kept park-style lawn instead of another house, so you get open views and more privacy than most casitas offer.

The ground floor is one connected space. The kitchen, dining area, and living room flow together, which works well whether you’re cooking for two or hosting a crowd. The kitchen was rebuilt with custom cabinets, new appliances, and granite on the counters, the backsplash, and a new island. The rest of the house got new furniture, new lighting, new window coverings, and fresh paint, so it all feels like it belongs together.

There are three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Two of them open straight outside, so you can roll out of bed and be at the pool with your coffee in about ten steps.

The pool is the big draw. It’s an oversized custom build with a spa attached, and the owners added it as an upgrade. Around it you’ll find a covered patio, plenty of spots to lounge or eat, and a gas outdoor kitchen with a new tile backsplash. The patio and rooftop surfaces, outdoor lighting, outdoor furniture, and landscaping are all new as well.

Upstairs is a second outdoor space built for evenings. It has a custom fire pit, a dining table, lounge seating, a pergola for shade, and a putting green. From up there you look out over the green space and the desert to the dunes and the Pacific.

It’s set up to be a great personal getaway. If you want it to earn some money while you’re away, though, it’s also in solid shape to rent.

Life at Diamante

Diamante sits on 1.5 miles of Pacific beach and has two golf courses:

The Dunes Course, which regularly ranks among the best in the world
El Cardonal, the first course Tiger Woods designed

Off the course, you get a 10-acre Crystal Lagoon for swimming, paddleboarding, and kayaking. There’s also a full sports and fitness center, a spa on the ocean, walking and biking trails, several restaurants and bars, and staff who make things easy. It’s an active community that works well for families, and it’s hard to beat in Cabo.
